Privacy policy

Your data

Lodgey is a local-only loyalty card wallet developed by Cillian Myles. We do not collect, monitor, track or sell your card information or your use of the app. There are no accounts, advertising, analytics, usage tracking or developer-operated servers receiving your app data.

On your device

Card names, numbers, barcodes, notes and app preferences are stored on your device. Lodgey uses the camera, with your permission, to scan card barcodes. Scanning is processed on your device; camera images and barcode values are not uploaded to us.

Motion sensors animate your cards, and screen brightness, sounds and vibration help you use the wallet. These controls do not send information to us. The current local-only release uses bundled or locally drawn card artwork.

Import and export

You can export your cards and preferences to a JSON backup file, and import a file you choose. Lodgey processes these files on your device and does not upload them to us.

Exported files are not encrypted by Lodgey and can contain card numbers and notes. Keep them somewhere you trust. If you choose to save a file in a cloud drive or share it using another app, that provider handles the file under its own privacy policy. Lodgey does not automatically sync your cards.

Keeping and removing cards

Your cards remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app data or uninstall the app. Your operating system may back up and restore app data according to your device settings. In the web app, clearing the site's stored data removes the local wallet.

Exported copies remain wherever you saved or shared them until you delete those copies. We do not hold a server copy of your wallet and cannot recover it for you.

Children and teens

Lodgey is intended for users aged 13 and over. The app does not collect personal information from children, teens or other users.

Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. If a future release introduces online services or changes how data is handled, we will update this policy to describe those changes.
